I went here tonight for dinner with some friends and was pretty impressed with the size of the operation here. this is a big restaurant with seating inside on two fooors plus seating outside as well, and it was packed. We tried for outdoor seats but they quickly told us that wasn't possible. Despite the crowd we were shown to a table immediately without any prior reservations. We each got a cocktail i had a delicious coconut mojito which didn't taste like it was made with low shelf liquor, well priced and strong yet not in a way that was hard to stomach. we started with the filet mignon egg rolls which were good fresh and had a nice sweet sauce with a dab of spicy mustard. We then got our entrees which we split they weee beef with broccoli, sesame chicken and the peking duck. The food didn't exactly come fast but it was so packed it was understandable. Everything was good, the meats all tasted high quality and they were nice juicy cuts. the sauces weren't too sweet and all the vegetables were fresh and cooked with just enough snap and flavor. I don't recall any complaint from any of us and I didn't really have any bad dishes. I was sort of surprised afterward too see the under 4 star score here cause obviously they do a huge business and it not like especially cheap so the must be doing something right. i feel like this is just one of those times when u realize these reviews aren't always accurate. Anyway i would sure go back given the opportunity and I am glad we ended up going there.

LOVEDDDD Peking Pavilion! It gets very busy on the weekends, but we were able to find a spot at the bar relatively quick. Food was absolutely delicious and their staff is very attentive.

Finally got try this place out after the renovation. Highly recommend the duck, I've been eating left over duck tacos for days. Service was great. My only beef with this place is the acoustics of the room. Everyone talking it somehow bounces off the walls and makes it very loud inside. Only a small price to pay for exquisite food.

We just flew into town and didn't want to miss one of our favorite dinner spots in town. This was a Wednesday evening at 6:30 and luckily we got a table near the bar - the only one available at that time. It's still a goldmine. The drinks are outstanding. We longed for our lychee martinis. They were as good as ever. We had the filet Mignon eggroll which was delicious. Then we each ordered our entrees. Paul had the short ribs over Hawaiian fried rice. I had the double pork chops with spinach and miso sauce. The miso sauce was thick and way too salty. I couldn't eat it. But the pork chop was perfect. It took a very long time to get our entrees but we weren't starving and we were watching TV. It was nice to have a variety of shows for our viewing pleasure. The food portions were generous. Unfortunately I left the doggy bag at the table and couldn't go back to get it. Lastly, the venue had a recent update. I noticed new light fixtures, updated modern bathroom and bar area as well as new Chinese motif screens by entry and some wallpaper. My personal opinion was it was overdone. I appreciate a more classy simple decor. This was glitzy and way too much going on. But the bar scene is always fun and as long as the food and drinks are good , the patrons will be happy and continue to come. Where else in the area can you get Asian fusion local in this neighborhood?
